Another One Bites the Dust.....

Alright so a couple of weekends ago, another Ballzout brother caved in and got married. Yes Judd was the latest victim. I was truly honoured to be one of the groomsmen. For those readers that don't know the newly weds, Judd and Ashley have been going out for about 7 years. They have recently moved to Winnipeg after spending the last few years in Calgary. I am actually living in their basement as they have kindly offered me a spot in their awesome place. Most will get to see Judd on some Inside the Mobb Episodes (coming soon) as he has joined the infamous city men's team (which is now in Div 3).

The ceremony took place out at Dogtooth Resort just outside of Kenora with the reception to be held at the Inn of the Woods. I had missed the rehearsal on Friday night (because I was on the road home after school) but my beautiful partner, Brooke, filled me in quickly. It was nice that we were third so all I had to do was follow Dusty (Judd's Bro) in front of me (Brooke and I were 3rd in case you were wondering). The ceremony had lots of little interesting things happen. Tater, Judd and Ash's dog got out of one of the houses and made his way down the dock where we all were. Judd's nephew, one of the ring bearers, left his place on the dock once he ran out of smarties. The marriage license was left in the house and when we got it (after a short delay) it almost got blown off the table when a big gust of wind hit. At the end of it all, we had a new couple to introduce to the world.

After some pictures taken at Rushing River (Scott pushed Ryley into the water after they took a pee off the rocks by the way), we headed back into the town and celebrated the night away. Dinner was great and had some great speeches highlighted by a few "roasts" by Ryley and Scott which ended in a tearful Judd. The night was spent with some dancing, catching up with old friends, making new ones, and many double rye's.

It was sad to see the party end. But as the party ended, there was a new beginning. Congrats to Judd and Ashley. Best Wishes and much love to you both. Thanks for letting me be a part of your special day.
